A Minor Case of Updating
First of all, everyone be sure to check out the remote-controlled human link to the right in the Digg News section. I guess they use the headset to mess with the fluid in your ears or something to make you lose your balance in whichever direction they want. So you're not actually being controlled, they're just causing a disturbance. Kinda freaky still. There's a movie on the linked page.
Some more potentially fun flash games, besides the Zelda one in the Digg section:
Spaceworms
Defend Your Computer
Kitten on the Keyboard
A new and helpful Firefox extension called TargetAlert has been discovered. This adds a little icon next to any hyperlinks on a webpage letting you know what exactly the link goes to. So if you want to find the link to a file quickly it helps with that, and it will also help prevent the random file from loading if you don't want it to. If any of you find any sweet extensions you should post about them in the comments section. There are some that I seriously would refuse to live without now. I almost find it impossible to browse with Firefox on any computer but my own.
I actually know someone who has suffered from identity theft now. I got a call from the girl that always asks me to work for her, but this time she wanted the opposite. She told me that about $2000 or so had been used and that she had to freeze all her accounts in order to stop the spending. So she wanted to work my Wednesday (today) in order to get some cash for herself. I felt so bad when I found out. This makes the prospect of this happening to me or people around me much more realistic. Everyone should just be careful.
One last thing: I'm going to a concert a week from tomorrow. On August 25 I will be going to see a band I have grown to love called Dredg. I've heard that they are amazing live, and I am very excited to see them. If anyone knows them or is interested, I might have an extra ticket if you want to go. The doors open at 5pm I think, and it's in Chicago right across from The Vic. Anyway, contact me if you're interested. But definitely check out the band.
I hope everyone is doing well.

There is no way you can actually like the game "Spaceworms". You hate games like that. I got to 4000 points and then wanted to put my fist through the screen.
